Keto Zone Hot Chocolate

Do you want to snuggle up with a loved one and drink a healthy keto hot chocolate?

Unfortunately, most hot chocolate is loaded with inflammatory sugar, low quality dairy, and any number of toxic preservatives.

That’s why we have put together this healthy, delicious, and easy hot chocolate recipe.

Ingredients

2 cups organic nut milk (almond, coconut, or hemp)
2 to 4 tablespoons cacao powder
2 tablespoons hydrolyzed collagen powder
1/2 tablespoon organic coconut oil
1 teaspoon organic vanilla powder
1/4 teaspoon ground organic nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Pinch sea salt
Sugar-free sweetener of choice (stevia, xylitol, monkfruit)

Instructions

  1. Warm the milk in a small saucepan over low heat.
  2. Whisk in all ingredients until evenly combined.
  3. Taste and adjust as needed.
  4. Serve warm or blend briefly for 30 seconds in a blender or with an immersion blender to make frothy.
  5. Serve in your favorite mug.

    live in a small country town and can never find all ingredients needed for recipes of dr.Colbert

  2. Was just on Amazon to order raw cacao. Reviews for 4 different brands all said there are levels of cadmium, lead, and a couple of other heavy metals in the cacao powder. One manufacturer stated their product has been tested by a 3d party lab, has less than 1ppm of those heavy metals. That still sounds really scary. Has it come to that, in our society, that we just have to accept that much heavy metal in our food even for a product labeled ‘organic’? Does Dr Colbert recommend a certain brand?
