The most common benefits include appetite suppression, faster weight loss, getting into ketosis more quickly, and more energy.

Types of Fasting on Keto

There are different types of fasting to choose from, depending on how long the fast is.

The ideal length for a true fast is 3-4 days (72-96 hours), but shorter fasting periods are still beneficial.

Intermittent fasting is a popular and effective way to “mini-fast” where you have a “feeding” window of eight hours or less—such as between 12pm and 8pm or 12pm and 6pm. Alternatively, you can choose 1-2 days per week to fast for 24 hours.

The smaller eating window you can do, the better.

  1. I thought you take the Instant Ketones when you have cheated? Or is it taken everyday? I’m confused

  2. Is ketosis dangerous? If you’re a diabetic and have heart disease or kidney disease…is ketosis bad for you?

  3. Does the intermittent fasting clock start ticking with first calories consumed for the day even if those calories are from a coffee with MCT powder? For example, if I have a keto coffee at 6AM, does my 8 hour window close at 2 PM?

  4. Can I drink my MCT coffee and drink the instant ketones while in fasting mode or is it just water during the fasting hours?
