Keto Zone Anti-Inflammatory Turmeric Bone Broth

Ingredients

About 4 pounds grass-fed beef bones
2 large organic carrots, chopped
3 large organic celery stalks, chopped
2 organic onions, chopped
1 large piece of fresh turmeric, chopped
1 large pice of fresh ginger, chopped
4 large cloves of garlic, chopped
1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
1 tablespoon organic olive oil
2 tablespoons organic apple cider vinegar
1 organic bay leaf

 

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 F.
  2. Arrange beef bones on a large baking tray.
  3. Drizzle bones with olive oil.
  4. Roast bones for 30 minutes in the preheated oven.
  5. Flip the bones over and roast for 30 more minutes.
  6. In a large crock pot, combine the roasted bones, apple cider vinegar, chopped vegetables, and bay leaf.
  7. Cover the mixture completely with filtered water.
  8. Set heat to high until water begins to simmer.
  9. Once simmering, turn the heat down to low and let simmer for 12-24 hours.
  10. Monitor water level and add more water when needed to keep all the ingredients submerged.
  11. Once broth reaches desired doneness, prepare a large mesh trainer with a cheesecloth on top.
  12. Allow broth to cool to a safe temperature.
  13. Arrange strainer and cheesecloth over a large 2 quart mason jar or other storage container of choice.
  14. Allow broth to cool for at least an hour or until it reaches room temperature.
  15. Store in the refrigerator for up to a week or in the freezer for up to 6 months.
  16. Serve warmed and enjoy!
