Ingredients:
- 7 cups old fashioned oats
- 1½ cups of slivered almonds
- 1½ cups unsweetened shredded coconut
- 3 Tablespoons of Ceylon cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon of nutmeg
- ⅛ teaspoon ground ginger
- 3 tablespoons pure vanilla extract
- 1½ cups organic applesauce
- ¼ cup raw honey
(when possible try to use organic ingredients)
Directions:
- Preheat your oven to 275˚
- Combine all the dry ingredients
- In another smaller mixing bowl, combine the wet ingredients
- Then add the wet to the dry and toss until the granola mixture is well coated
- Spread the mixture evenly on a baking sheet
- Bake for about 40-45 minutes (tossing every 10 minutes so it browns evenly)
- Let cool and then ENJOY!
