Healthy Cinnamon Granola

Ingredients:

  • 7 cups old fashioned oats
  • 1½ cups of slivered almonds
  • 1½ cups unsweetened shredded coconut
  • 3 Tablespoons of Ceylon cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon of nutmeg
  • ⅛ teaspoon ground ginger
  • 3 tablespoons pure vanilla extract
  • 1½ cups organic applesauce
  • ¼ cup raw honey
    (when possible try to use organic ingredients)

Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 275˚
  2. Combine all the dry ingredients
  3. In another smaller mixing bowl, combine the wet ingredients
  4. Then add the wet to the dry and toss until the granola mixture is well coated
  5. Spread the mixture evenly on a baking sheet
  6. Bake for about 40-45 minutes (tossing every 10 minutes so it browns evenly)
  7. Let cool and then ENJOY!
