5 Keto Zone Fat Bombs & 5 Reasons to Make Them Today

What is a Keto Zone “fat bomb?”

It is simply a snack, or meal replacement, that is almost all fats.

In fact, a fat bomb typically contains 90% or more calories from fat. Traditional fat bombs are snack-sized morsels, either balls or bars, and pack about 200 calories in just a couple bites.

But not all fat bombs are equal.

To qualify as truly Keto Zone, they should be made of healthy, anti-inflammatory fats.

And not all fat bombs are morsels. We’ve included morsels, drinks, a spooned bomb, and more. They all serve the same function.

From quick easy-to-make instructions to full recipes, we hope you enjoy these 5 Delicious Keto Zone Fat Bombs and 5 reasons you should make them today.

5 Delicious Keto Zone “Fat Bombs”

Traditional Fat Bombs:

1.No-Bake Chocolate Fat Bomb

Place 1 Tbsp. raw cacao or cocoa in small bowl. Add 1.5 Tbsp. softened organic coconut oil, 1 Tbsp. water, and 2-3 drops stevia (to taste). Stir in 1/8 tsp vanilla and a small pinch of salt. Stir well until it becomes a creamy thick texture. Place in mini coconut oil-greased cupcake liners, or form into cubes, and refrigerate just until hardened, about 15-20 minutes.

Non-Traditional Fat “Bombs”

3.    Hazelnut MCT Coffee Fat Bomb

This one’s easy. It’s not a typical, solid food fat bomb, but it’s a delicious way to start the day. Simply mix 12-16 oz. of your favorite coffee with 1 Tbsp. organic coconut oil and 1 scoop Hazelnut MCT Oil Powder. Together, it will give you the delicious smooth texture of coconut oil coffee plus a better ratio of medium chain triglycerides.

4.    Fat Bomb on a Spoon: Coconut Oil + Almond Butter + Cacao Nibs

5. Egg in a Whole Avocados

This wonderful fat bomb is a whole breakfast. First, slice an unpeeled, small avocado in half lengthwise and twist into two separate pieces. Remove pit. Place one avocado half on a baking sheet or in an oven-safe pan. Add 1 teaspoon grass-fed butter in the avocado hole. Crack one large egg and place yolk in avocado whole, reserving white for another use. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cook in 425 deg F oven for 15-20 minutes. Optionally, add 1 slice crumbled bacon.

5 Reasons to Eat our Keto Zone Fat Bombs

1.    They Satisfy Hunger.

When you eat a snack high in healthy fat, with little protein or carbohydrates, they signal our brains to tell us that we are full. In fact, in an individual food or meal, fats improve leptin and ghrelin balance to help us identify fullness vs. hunger.

On the whole, high-fat diets tend to suppress appetite. In studies, those eating a high-fat diet tend to eat less total calories and still report less hunger.

2.    Healthy Fats Improve Health.

Healthy fats have a lot to offer nutritionally. When they replace carbohydrates, they:

  • Improve cholesterol ratios by increasing HDL “good cholesterol” while reducing or maintaining LDL “bad cholesterol”
  • Reduce dangerous triglycerides
  • Optimize blood sugars and insulin.
  • Improve brain and eye health
  • Reduce inflammation

3.    High Percentage Fat Snacks Promote Ketosis

Since fat bombs are typically over 85% fat, they can significantly increase fat intake in the entire diet to 75% or more calories from fat.

Most meals, even Keto Zone meals, also include protein and a few carbohydrates. Fat bombs can quickly tip the balance toward more fats.

4.  They Bust Cravings

It seems that most people either crave sweets or salt. Fortunately, fat bombs can be sweet or savory.

Fat Bombs are an easy addition to the Keto Zone diet, and their rich, delicious flavors can help you satisfy any craving.

Feeling satisfied definitely increases the longevity and success of Keto Zone eating.

5. They Are Beneficial to Keto Zone Eaters and Others

Even those who eat more carbs can benefit from Fat Bombs as long as they replace carbohydrate snacks. If you eat moderate carbs, it will not help to simply add more fats. Instead, replace carbohydrate with healthy fats, and still reap many of the benefits listed above.

Bottom Line

Healthy Keto Zone Fat Bombs are quick, easy, satisfying, and can help you achieve ketosis.

  1. Fat Bombs are gross. Similar to eating a hunk of lard. I would like to find a dessert/candy recipe that gives the same benefits as fat bombs, yet tastes like regular desserts, candy, cakes, or some other sweet snack!

We’ve included a variety of traditional and non-traditional fat bombs that taste great…everything from coconut oil and cacao to Keto Zone coffee. The goal of increasing fat percentage is the same, but there are many ways to do it. Glad the Keto desserts, candies, cakes, etc work for you. Take care!

Sensational! Cannot wait to try these! We’ve lost weight and feel so better not being bloated. I need to look into exactly what good fats are.

I like them very much! I made 2 huge batches of the lemon, and then the chocolate. They lasted about a month. I learned, never store them anywhere but the frig. They gotta stay cold to maintain flavor, especially for the duration of the large batches I made. After a month, mine are just beginning to lose the chocolate flavor and get granular. The lemon is such a strong flavor, they’d keep their flavor for more weeks. For me, I’d add another drop or two stevia in the chocolate and in the lemon. I used minicupcake cups, and it is best not to fill them up. Just put a tablespoon, just as the recipe calls for. I can only take a small bite of the lemon because they are so tangy, and I have to suck on it to the side of my mouth. Delicious! The zest makes ’em great. I tried the fat bomb on a spoon; excellent! Great way to eat nibs. I don’t mind mixing in a regular spoon, using the tip of a knife to mix all 3 ingredients. I happen to have coconut oil with flavor and don’t mind the combinations. I like having a quick, easy way to get fat nutrition. Easy to pick up out of the frig, and take with me to eat quickly before they perish; a bite at a time. When I doubled -up eating good oil, my mind became alert again, and my joints have STOPPED hurting! I’m age 62. Thanks for these great recipes!!!
